Section One
Who We're Looking For
Two women with real openness and curiosity about the world — the kind that doesn't switch off when the room gets unfamiliar. Genuinely intelligent and sophisticated, and not performing either. Adventurous in the practical sense: comfortable sitting still in a hide for three hours, comfortable paddling into surf that's bigger than expected, comfortable taking a physical risk with a clear head.
Natural charisma and warmth. Real empathy, the sort that shows up in how you listen rather than what you say about listening. Comfortable being fully yourself on camera without performing for it. A genuine love of nature and of travel, and curiosity that simply doesn't run out.
Most of all: a real domain that's entirely her own — something she's genuinely known for, or quietly passionate about, that has nothing to do with this show. A serious skill, a craft, a world she's the authority in. That matters as much as anything else here.

This isn't a photo of anyone already chosen — nobody has been cast yet. These are illustrative images of two women together, one white South African, one Black South African — because that's genuinely what this show is: two friends, close across a line their own country's history would have made unlikely, on the trip of a lifetime. You don't need to already have your other half — the casting process pairs candidates itself, whether you apply on your own or alongside someone you know. - Total openness and curiosity about people and places unlike your own
- Real intelligence and sophistication — not performed for a camera
- Genuinely adventurous — a dawn hide, real surf, a horse, a dive — lived-in, not staged
- Warmth, charisma, and real sensuality — comfortable owning your own presence
- Real empathy
- Comfortable in your own skin on camera — unshy, unbothered by being seen as you actually are
- A domain that's entirely yours — food, wine, the outdoors, business, art, music, sport — something you're genuinely known for, that has nothing to do with this show
- A love of nature and of travel
- Inquisitiveness — you ask the questions, you don't just react
- And more than anything else: real chemistry with whoever you'd be sharing this journey with — not something either of you can perform
No acting experience needed. This is a fully open, nationwide search — we're not looking for a type, we're looking for you.

Section Two
What's Provided
- Full luxury accommodation, travel, and food throughout filming.
- Daily per diems for the whole of the shoot.
- Specialist training funded by production where it's needed — advanced driving, scuba, surfing, riding.
- Compensation is competitive, with full detail shared once an applicant reaches the interview stage.
Section Three
The Tone of the Show, Honestly
The series is sensual and adventurous, and it is never explicit. Anything of that kind is implied rather than shown — suggestion, atmosphere, the charge between two people who are enjoying themselves. If a sensitive moment does end up on camera, you see it and approve it afterwards, before it goes anywhere near a cut. That's not fine print; it's how this production works.
